Forest Service called biased

Cross country ski and snowshoe groups largely panned last month's decision by the U.S. Forest Service to divvy up what had been a 10,000-acre area in Logan Canyon set aside for skiers to also include snowmobiles. Salt Lake Tribune 1/16/07

A cold front moved into the Tetons on Wednesday, January 10. The good news was that as the cold front came in, it squeezed out 10-12 inches of snow on the west side of the Teton Range. The bad news: Daytime temperatures in the mountains were between -5 and +5 and those temperatures were predicted to hold until Monday.

We're in another storm cycle up here, and after the feeding frenzy of the Christmas/New Years week, we need it. It started snowing late Wednesday and hasn't stopped yet.
