First day out after a month in the desert. Forgot how long it takes to gather all your ski gear in the morning and barely made it to the trailhead to meet Bob.
We were calling this a probe, but after hiking into the mouth of Mail Cabin, we were both surprised at the amount of snow; the trail was fully covered and skiable all the way into Windy Ridge.
Wind Ridge had about 30″ of snow. Pretty nice but it was upside down and fracturing at almost every turn.
