Day 33 – Teton Park

Distance: 10.3 miles

Vertical: 5610'

We just had two wind-powered storms back to back. On the west side of the Tetons we got around 11″. But on the east side they got 17″ or more. After seeing 13″ for Rendezvous Bowl on January 8, we decided it was time to visit the park.

After getting blown out of Mail Cabin yesterday, I was worried that most of the snow would be wind blown. Lucky for us, the east side was somewhat sheltered from the wind. We found deep, untracked powder with little wind damage.
