Another long hike into Mail Cabin. Looked like about 6″ of new snow. Because the bowl faces west south west, the snow was a little wind affected and stiff, but very supportive. The upside down snow was gone. We skied two laps on INL bowl and then exited down the lower ridge on Windy Ridge. The snow on Windy was soft and supportive there with ski penetration about 8″ and a rating of 8. Should have spent the day there instead.
