Day 27 – Traversabowl

Distance: 3 miles

Vertical: 3,000'

Finally, an historical storm cycle is here. Not since Snovember have I seen a storm cycle this persistent. It’s been streaming snow into the Tetons for almost a week.

It came it like a lion with powerful wind. That made it dangerous and difficult to find a safe and sheltered place to ski.

We stuck to low angle tree runs with a southerly aspect, less snow and less wind loaded. Pretty good skiing.
