Day 45 Lice Bowl

Distance: 4.85 miles

Vertical: 1647'

The Pass finally opened to traffic. The wind was howling and had been throughout the storm cycle. The trick was to find a sheltered bowl. We were headed to the Pass when I noticed that Lice bowl was untracked; it’s one of the more sheltered bowls in the area. Couldn’t pass up the fruit.

We got first tracks down. Due to the strenuous trail breaking, we decided to do a one-and-done. We got untracked for 1600′. Lovely.
