Day 46 – Trigger, Dale Evans, and Roy Roger Bowls

Distance: 8.72 miles

Vertical: 1647'

A mostly bluebird day. I started early because there were two southerly bowls I wanted to ski, and I knew they would get cooked quickly by the Sun.

We hit Trigger Bowl just before the Sun did and it was very good. 1000′ of untracked down 3 linking bowls. Not perfect but close.

Then we decided to hit the obvious northerly Dale Evans bowl. It had a few tracks in it, but the steeper half of the bowl was untracked. That had even better snow, deep and creamy.

Finally, I exited on Roy Rogers bowl, but I was too late. It had already cooked and crusted by the time I got to it. Two out of three is not bad.
