After a very big day yesterday, I almost took a rest day. But the wonderful snow of yesterday lured me back for more.
I planned to ski the remote, north-facing bowl that I skipped yesterday, but I found good snow before I got there. That remote, north-facing bowl would have to wait for another day.
Although Perceptabowl is west facing, the crust was buried under about 10″ of dense powder. As a result, it skied quite well if I stayed light on my skis and didn’t bit into the crust layer below the power.
I did 3 laps and would have done a few more, but the effort from yesterday and the trail breaking today took its toll. A good solo day.
