Last weekend, there was rain up to 10,000′. Now, there is a rain crust on all the ski terrain. Yesterday, the Teton Range got up to 6″ of light powder on top of the rain crust. The good news is that the rain crust, for the most part, is not breakable. If you can find low angle terrain, the new light powder skis like a dream. Get on terrain 30% or more, and you be skidding on dust-on-crust.
