Day 18 – Indisputabowl

Distance: 817 miles

Vertical: 3050'

Another clear day in the single digits. We headed to Indisputabowl hoping it would be untracked. It was. This bowl, which faces north east, is normally sheltered from the wind, but the wind must have come from the north east.

The northeast wind must have started blowing late in the afternoon, because we were in the same valley the day before, and there was no wind affect on north east faces.

We moved over to the southeast aspect, and the snow was much softer. Again, the southerly aspects were holding up well.

We exited on a very steep south face I have never skied before, and it was excellent.
